Pure olive oil is a mixture of refined olive oil and virgin or extra virgin olive oil. The color of this oil ranges from green to light yellow, which actually is not an indicator of its flavor as most people assume. Pure olive oil, unlike extra virgin olive oil, is not expensive, so you can use it in some culinary preparations.
