Cardamom is a strong aromatic spice which is obtained from the seeds of its plant. The seeds under the pod of cardamom are used as seasoning. The seed of the plant is part of the ginger family and is also used for medication in Ayurveda. It has two variations, one is the small cardamom which appears green in color, and second is the big cardamom which is black.
