Broccoli and cauliflower belong to the same family Brassicaceae but are grouped under Italica cultivar group and Botrytis cultivar group respectively. The tree-shaped part in broccoli is loosely packed so that we can see the spaces, but in a cauliflower, they are very closely packed. Broccoli has green colored flower heads whereas cauliflower has a white flower head.
