What is the difference between mint and coriander(cilantro)?

Mint is known to be a great appetizer and adds a dash of freshness to your dish. Mint promotes digestion and also has relaxing effects in case you are suffering from stomach related problems. Coriander leaves, on the other hand, are used for garnishing and are rich in vitamin C and K. Coriander leaves can also be used to treat mouth ulcers and anemia.

Cilantro, also known as coriander or Chinese parsley, is actually used majorly for garnishing. Mint, on the other hand, has a strong flavor and needs to be used mindfully because it might end up changing the taste.

I usually add mint to yogurt with berries. You can also try to add mint to your smoothie. It just tastes yum!
