What is the difference between parsley and coriander leaves?

People often get confused between parsley and coriander leaves. Coriander leaves have a strong smell while parsley has a mild aroma. Parsley is used for adding a mild flavor to the dish while coriander leaves are added after the dish has been cooked as it tends to lose its flavor upon cooking. However, you should use coriander leaves as soon as possible as they lose their freshness quickly.
