Karkady is the name given to the Egyptian styled hibiscus tea, which can be prepared as follows:
Boil 1 cup of the dried hibiscus flower in 2 L of boiling water. Let it boil for 2 mins and then allow it to cool for 15 mins. Pour the water into a pot through a filter paper or fine strainer. Pour half a cup of sugar into this mixture and stir. Enjoy the Karkady once it cools!
