The health benefits of dates are appreciably mentioned in Islam in various ways. A few of those are listed below:
• Qur’an, the holy book of Islam, mentions that Mary was advised to have dates while in labor with Jesus.
• The Prophet gave this fruit a supernatural power by saying, “He who eats seven Ajwa dates every morning,
will not be affected by poison or magic on the day he eats them.”
• In order to feel energized after a fast, the Prophet asked Muslims to break their Ramadan with dates.
