Baking powder and baking soda are usually understood as two different ingredients, but are actually the same! Baking powder is most commonly used when it comes to baking and confectionary. Baking powder has other varied uses, such as freshening breath, relieving heartburn and skin irritation, cleaning and polishing, and deodorizing!
