Inflammation is one of the leading triggers of acne which can arise due to the intake of some foods. Another trigger for acne is sebum. Sebum is an oily liquid which carries dead skin cells over the follicles. When the follicles get blocked, the oil builds up, and pimples form over the area. Some other reasons can be hormonal changes, emotional stress, and mensuration.
