Cabbage leaves should be a little moist when you apply it on the skin. You don’t want it dry, but you also don’t want it dripping wet. Just wet enough to be able to open up the pores on your skin.

If you try the leaf therapy for breastfeeding, you will have to freeze the leaves before using. I am not aware if it works the same for other skin purposes.

I soak cabbage in saline water for 30 mins before use and then juice it out. Fresh cabbage juice is truly beneficial for the skin.

I think you need to wet the cabbage leaves before using it on your skin.
