What kind of wound exactly? If it is an external wound then yes definitely bamboo shoots can help. But if there is an internal wound like a ligament or a muscle rupture then please consult with a doctor to be safe!

As per ancient Indian tradition bamboo shoot has been used to clear blood from animal toxins or snake poison. I remember this because my grandma told me about this as a part of one of the childhood bedtime stories.

I know that bamboo shoots work amazing for stomach ulcer wounds. It has been an acient medicine since times Ayurveda. It has anti-microbial properties which help in faster and better wound healing.
