Love my coconut oil! I get mine at Costco and they have one of the best. And, endless ways to use it. This is a terrific article to answer all your questions. I've used it for years, and swear by it!

I buy my coconut oil from our local indian market. it is called parachute and is unrefined and 100% pure and raw. it doesnt need heating to melt. i just sit it out at room temp or my boyfriend whoi is indian hehe rolls the bottle between his palms which makes it soft enough to squeeze out. it then melts immediately upon contact with my skin. he had me begin using this as the winter caused my caucasian skin to chap and dry out and even sensitive skin lotion burns me like acid. the coconut oil helped heal my skin dramatically, and it does not burn. it also smells delicious! we are due to have a baby soon and we will be using this for infant massage.
