The impressive benefits and uses of valor essential oil include relaxing the body and mind, relieving joint pain, eliminating stress, boosting energy, strengthening the immune system, healing respiratory infections, inducing sleep, relieving headaches, and making your home smell great.

It is a relatively new product on the market, as the recent upsurge in essential oil popularity has led to many new blends and combinations of these oils. Valor essential oil is not a standalone oil; in fact, it is made from a combination of Frankincense, Blue Tansy, Rosewood and Spruce essential oils, and is usually bound in a carrier oil, such as almond oil. When these five oils are combined, the united effect can be applied topically, in aromatherapy, or in an essential oil diffuser. In very small amounts, valor essential oil can even be consumed directly to treat certain medical conditions.

The health benefits of valor essential oil are derived from the volatile components of the essential oils. Frankincense offers monoterpenes, triterpenes, and ketones, while blue tansy offers azulene and other antioxidants. Rosewood boasts a high concentration of linalool acid, as well as alpha-pinene, camphene, myrcene and limonene, and spruce oil has sesquiterpenes and cortisol-like properties that can stimulate the body and nervous system. The carrier oil – typically almond oil – also offers a rich supply of beneficial fatty acids, such as oleic, linoleic and myristic acids. The potent antioxidants and active compounds in valor essential oil give this popular blend so many of its impressive qualities.

Benefits of Valor Essential Oil

There are many health benefits of valor essential oil, particularly for people who suffer from anxiety, stress, depression, sleeplessness, low energy, fatigue, cough, cold, weak immunity, arthritis, chronic pain, headaches and other inflammatory conditions. These benefits are mainly due to the antioxidant, antiviral, antibacterial, anxiolytic and anti-inflammatory qualities of this unique oil blend.

Energy Booster

If you find yourself feeling sluggish throughout the day, or generally lacking in energy, but don’t want to turn to caffeine, then simply taking a sniff of valor essential oil can invigorate your body and boost your cognition. Inhaling even a small amount of this powerful oil is enough to stimulate the metabolism and release energizing neurotransmitters throughout the body for a clean, refreshed feeling.

Induces Sleep

While this is known as an energizing essential oil blend, it is also praised for helping people sleep better. When diffused throughout a room, the anxiolytic properties of rosewood oil can help to soothe the body and mind, which is often what prevents healthy, undisturbed sleep. If you regularly suffer from insomnia or sleep disorders, using valor essential oil in a diffuser or in a topical application on your chest can help induce uninterrupted sleep.

Lowers Stress & Anxiety

One of the most common uses of valor essential oil is for anxiety and stress. This oil blend is known as a spiritual enhancer, promoting uplifted feelings, helping to balance stress hormone levels and reduce symptoms of depression. Using this oil in a diffuser or inhaling it can bring peace and calmness to your life.

Reduces Inflammation

If you suffer from inflammatory properties, such as headaches, joint disorders, arthritis, gout or even gastrointestinal distress, using valor essential oil can be very beneficial. This oil is very popular for people with stiff necks and aching backs and can be topically applied to the sore area for rapid, warm and soothing relief from even the worst muscle strains and aches.

Boosts Immune System

With antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, blue tansy essential oil and spruce essential oil both make valor essential oil an excellent booster for the immune system. It can be a great remedy for skin infections, especially its ability to soothe skin irritation. And when inhaled, this oil can provide instant energy to the entire body, helping to protect against airborne pathogens and those present in your gut and respiratory tracts.

Slows the Progression of Respiratory Diseases

This unique combination of essential oils is particularly good at clearing out and reducing the risk of respiratory infections. The best way to gain these benefits is to either topically apply the oil to your chest while you sleep, or diffuse the oil throughout your home and enjoy the effects all day!

What is Valor Essential Oil Used For?

Aside from its medicinal applications, valor essential oil is also used as an aftershave or as a cologne, as a pre-workout remedy, for cleaning the home and improving room odor. In moderate doses, when properly prepared, this oil is relatively harmless, yet it is quite potent, so a very small amount will go a long way!

Home Cleaner

The antibacterial, antiseptic, anti-fungal and anti-infectious qualities of certain oils in valor essential oil make this blend the perfect choice for cleaning your home. From counters and floors to doorknobs and toys, this is a very powerful and potent cleanser, but also safe to use on common surfaces

Aftershave and Cologne

Many men choose to use this earthy aroma as an aftershave or cologne. The rosewood and spruce provide a healthy, outdoorsy scent, while the topical application on your skin can help improve the astringency of your pores, clear up blemishes and wrinkles, and leave your skin with a healthy glow.

Room Odor

People often choose to diffuse valor essential oil throughout their home, not only for the passive therapeutic benefits but because it can quickly eliminate foul odors. While neutralizing airborne pathogens and other nasty particles in the air, this essential oil blend will also leave your home with a clean and invigorating scent.

Pre- and Post-workout

Due to the powerful anti-inflammatory nature of this oil, many athletes and regular gym-goers apply a few drops of this oil on their joints and muscles before and after their workout. It can both energize the muscles and body before a workout, and then soothe any inflammation in the muscles after you’ve finished!

What is Valor Essential Oil Made From?

Valor essential oil is a combination of Frankincense, Blue Tansy, Rosewood and Spruce essential oils, and in most cases, this is mixed with a carrier oil, such as almond oil, to improve delivery, particularly in topical applications. It is quite easy to make valor essential oil at home, provided you have the necessary ingredients, and a blue or brown tinted bottle (to protect against light damage). You can also purchase valor essential oil online or from herbalists, but making your own essential oil blends is very satisfying!

  • 4 teaspoons of Spruce essential oil
  • 2 teaspoons of Frankincense essential oil
  • 2 teaspoons of Blue tansy essential oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Rosewood essential oil
  • 2 teaspoons of almond oil (or coconut oil) – carrier oil, specifically for topical use

Step 1 – Gather all necessary essential oils and an appropriately tinted bottle.

Step 2 – Add the carrier oil to the bottle, if you are planning to use the oil for topical applications.

Step 3 – Add the 4 main oils of valor essential oil to the bottle.

Step 4 – Shake vigorously and then store in a cool, dry and dark place until you are ready to use it.
