Notes

You can get innovative with the homemade sugar scrubs once you master these basic recipes. You can add different essential oils such as lavender, orange, or peppermint oils for a fragrant scrub. Try pure vanilla extract for a spa experience. Jojoba and grapeseed oils also work well on the skin. White and brown sugar are not as harsh as raw sugar.
Make sure you test the sugar scrubs on your hand before you use it on your body to make sure you don't have an allergic reaction. Always use a palmful of scrub and use smooth, circular strokes to massage your body with it. Don't scrub the skin too hard as it may cause skin irritation. It's best to avoid scrubbing skin, which is prone to acne, to avoid a breakout. Watch your dead cells go away and say hello to beautiful, radiant skin!
