Make Your Own Garlic Powder: Easy Recipe

Use it in marinades, on pizza, in pasta sauces, or in salad dressings for a gentle garlicky flavor!

Ingredients

  • 2-3 bulbs garlic
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Peel and slice the garlic cloves thinly and place them on a plate.
  • Turn the oven to 175 degrees Centigrade. Let the garlic cloves roast until they are completely dry. 
  • Once they are completely dehydrated, grind them in a processor or with a mortar and pestle.
  • Strain the mixture so that only the powder remains. Store the powder in an airtight spice jar

Notes

For garlic salt, add extra salt along with the dehydrated garlic cloves to the processor.
