Ingredients

  • 5-6 apples
  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 bags of black tea
  • 1 stick of cinnamon

Instructions

  • To make apple cinnamon tea, peel 5-6 apples, avoiding as much of the fruit as possible as the tea should be made using only its peels. 
  • Add 4 cups of water, the apple peels, 1 stick of cinnamon, and 2 bags of black tea in a saucepan.
  • Bring the water in the saucepan to a boil and allow the mixture to boil for at least 5 minutes.
  • Strain the mixture and serve the tea warm. 

Notes

Some variations of this tea include adding honey or cloves, as well as topping the tea with a splash of milk. Ensure that you do not use tart apples as that can turn the tea sour. You can make the tea frothier by pouring the mixture from a height through a strainer.
