Korean Jujube Tea Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 liters of filtered water
  • 14 grams cinnamon stick
  • 40 dried jujubes (Korean dates)
  • 55 grams of ginger
  • 3 oz packed brown sugar

Instructions

  • To make jujube tea, Fill a pressure cooker with 3 liters of water and place it on the stove.
  • To it add ginger slices, dried jujubes, and cinnamon sticks and cover the cooker and cook under pressure for 10 minutes over medium heat. 
  • Thereafter, reduce the heat to very low and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Once the pressure is released, remove the cover of the cooker and add brown sugar. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes, or until it is adequately infused. The tea is now ready. Enjoy the hot drink!

Notes

You can serve it with a few pine nuts in the tea.
