DIY Cassava Flour

Making cassava flour is very easy, even if it does take time.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz cassava peeled
  • 3 ltr water for boiling

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to its lowest setting.
  • Bring a pot of water to boil and add the peeled cassava.
  • Replace boiling water with cold water in the pot and chill the cassava.
  • Grate the cassava and lay it out on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the cassava for 8 hours until all moisture is gone.
  • Using a food processor, blend the dried cassava into a fine, cassava flour powder.
