DIY Sprouted Brown Rice Recipe
You can use this sprouted brown rice in place of regular sprouts. Apart from cooking it as you would any rice, it can also be added to salads
- 1/2 cup brown rice
- Water for soaking and washing
Add 1/2 cup of brown rice to a glass jar or sprouting container, then cover the rice with water.
Soak for 12 hours and then drain the water.
After another 12 hours, rinse the rice and drain again.
Repeat the rinsing and draining for 2-3 days, after which the tiny sprouts should appear.
Store the sprouted rice in an airtight container until you are ready to use them.
