Mange is caused by the uncontrolled presence of mites on the surface of a dog’s skin, but one of the most effective ways to keep the number of mites under control and ensure that your dog remains healthy is to apply aloe vera to the affected areas. Aloe vera is a powerful source of antiparasitic and antiseptic compounds that can quickly eradicate the mites that are causing demodetic mange. You can apply aloe vera in a number of ways, but the most popular is either topical application through a carrier cream or aloe vera tea. If you do this once or twice a day in the affected areas, the mange should clear up within a week or so.
