Balanced diet

While many people consider anal itching to be a condition that is physical in nature, meaning that it is due to friction or irritation near the buttocks, it can also be the result of a poor diet. Spicy foods and those that are high in vitamin C have been directly linked to anal itching, so if you are suffering from this inflammatory condition, cut back on those types of foods for 1-2 weeks and see if that results in any improvement. If the condition continues, try eliminating one or two potentially irritating foods at a time and test yourself for food allergies. Eliminate any foods accordingly, based on the results of your test.
