Caffeine is a tricky home remedy for headaches, as caffeine can both cause and cure headaches, depending on what the base cause of the headache is. If you are a regular coffee drinker, and then suddenly cut out that source of caffeine, your body may manifest its withdrawal symptoms as a caffeine headache, which can be solved with a cup of coffee or tea. However, if your headaches stems from dehydration or some other medical condition affecting the head or neck, then increasing your caffeine intake can actually make the headache worse.
