Caffeine

Although caffeine in itself is a drug, it has also been found to be an effective remedy for addictions to other drugs. Getting addicted to caffeine is easy, but in comparison to the potentially deadly effects that drugs can have on the body, an addiction to your morning cup of joe is the lesser of two evils. Caffeine provides the energetic rush of many other drugs, and for a body that is craving that physiological surge, the caffeine in coffee or other energy drinks can mimic the effects of the drug. This will allow withdrawals to happen much less dramatically, effectively solving the much more serious addiction.
