Centella asiatica, also known as gotu kola in some parts of the world, has proven to be a highly effective remedy for the treatment of epilepsy. Known for centuries to boost the strength of the central nervous system and improve brain function, centella asiatica is often turned to for epilepsy, because it is a nervous system disorder. By improving the functionality of neurotransmitters, centella asiatica can reduce the severity and frequency of epileptic attacks. Gotu kola is most commonly found in supplemental form in much of the western world.
