Cod liver oil

by Meenakshi Nagdeve last updated -

Cod liver oil is a common ingredient in many diaper rash creams, but it can also be used directly on the baby’s skin for an even quicker solution. Cod liver oil has healthy fats and soothing organic compounds that can eliminate inflammation and pain. Cod liver oil is easily accessible in small supplement forms, and you can split these capsules open and spread the oil directly on the affected skin. However, it is highly suggested that you keep cod liver oil away from cloth diapers, as the smell of the oil is very difficult to wash out.
