Flaxseed Oil

Flaxseed oil, like many other alternative vegetable oils, is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and a number of other important nutrients. In the treatment of colon cancer, the only thing that matters is that influx of omega-3 fatty acids, as they can have anti-inflammatory effects throughout the gastrointestinal system and the colon. By reducing the amount of pro-inflammatory molecules in the colon, flaxseed oil can effectively slow the spread of cancer and make conditions unpleasant or unliveable for cancer cells. This also gives formal treatments a better chance of wiping out the cancer before it attacks other organ systems.
