Lavender oil and many other essential oils from flowers and herbs have healing properties that many people are completely unaware of. Lavender oil, for example, is an ideal remedy for burns, as it has naturally stimulant and anti-inflammatory properties. Gently applying lavender oil to the site of a burn a few days following the injury can help to relieve residual pain and prevent any infections from attacking the wound. Furthermore, lavender oil can stimulate the regrowth of new cells due to the antioxidants present in this concentrated herbal mixture.
