Lime Juice

Lime juice, and a number of other citrus fruit juices, can do some rather impressive things when it comes to the health of our skin. In the case of acne scars, for example, the bleaching properties of lime juice can make the scars nearly invisibile, but that isn’t where the benefits end. Citric acid and other important compounds found in lime juice can then slough off dead skin cells and stimulate the production of new, healthy cells to replace them. Lime juice can also give your skin some of its youthfulness back by improving elasticity and lowering susceptibility to infections or blemishes.
