Lycopene rich foods

by prathamesh gharat last updated -

Many people don’t have any idea what lycopene actually is, assuming that it is little more than a pigment in many red and orange foods. However, lycopene is a powerful antioxidant that has been directly linked to stopping the spread of cancerous cells, and even reversing the growth of carcinomas in many cases. Prostate cancer can develop slowly over time, and is often difficult to diagnose early, so maintaining a high lycopene diet at all times is wise. Lycopene-rich foods include guavas, watermelons, tomatoes, asparagus and carrots.
