Mint

Chewing mint leaves is a great way to improve digestion and remove any inflammation in the stomach. Mint has naturally cooling properties that can eliminate irritation or acidity in the stomach, and thus cut back on your belching following a big meal. Settling the stomach may take a bit of time, and mint may actually stimulate the release of a few big burps before settling down. While this may not be an ideal home remedy if you’re in an embarrassing professional or personal situation, it does help in maintaining a healthy gut!
