Mint and turpentine oil may not seem like two substances you’d often mix, but they both can have anti-inflammatory effects on the body, and can stimulate blood flow to areas of the body that need it. In the case of a backache, the muscles and tissues become inflamed due to strain, repetitive movements, poor diet, or even diseases of some kind, but the combination of mint and turpentine oil can strengthen the body’s defenses. Applying a small amount of this mixture directly onto the painful area of your back can clear up the pain quickly and speed the healing of those tissues.
