If you suffer from chronic boils in various parts of your body, then it may be a good idea to increase your consumption of onions. Onions actually have a similar nutrient profile to garlic, and are equally good at boosting the immune system and preventing infections at the site of the boil. A paste made of onions can be applied to the site of boils and covered with a bandage. The active ingredients in onions will flood that part of the skin with nutrients, and also eliminate any infections that may be causing the boil. The onion paste will even stimulate bloodflow to the area, which will speed the healing process.
