Tee tree oil

The natural properties of tea tree oil make this an ideal remedy for head lice. Used in Australia and the rest of that region for hundreds of years, tea tree oil possesses insecticial properties that can quickly kill any of the bugs nibbling at your scalp. This is also a less harsh approach than petroleum jelly or pure garlic paste, and won’t result in any irritation to the scalp. Tea tree oil also stimulates healing and repair to the tissues that may have been damaged. Following the use of tea tree oil, shower thoroughly, scrubbing the scalp, and then pick out any remaining head lice with a fine-tooth comb.
