Vinegar

What many parents don’t understand is that diaper rash is inevitable, but there are certain preventative methods you can take. One is washing diapers with a mixture of vinegar and water, rather than standard soaps, as they can have irritating chemicals or components that increase inflammation. Vinegar, however, has no physical side effects and effectively disinfects and cleans the diaper. After the light vinegar bath, wash the diaper a second time with plain water and you will see a noticeable decline in diaper rash symptoms.
