Many people are unaware that cystic fibrosis can be mediated by something that we can receive for free every single day’ sunlight! As you surely know, sunlight Is our primary source of vitamin D, which is made in cells near the surface of our skin. Studies have linked Vitamin D deficiency to higher levels of cystic fibrosis, as well as more frequent and severe infections. Therefore, researchers have suggested that regular exposure to sunlight or other foods that contain vitamin D, such as cheese, egg yolks, salmon and soy products, is a great way to manage or even eliminate cystic fibrosis symptoms.
