Yogurt is one of the easiest ways for people to access probiotics in their diet, which make it an ideal remedy for diarrhea and many other gastrointestinal issues. Probiotics are essentially beneficial bacteria that we need in our gut for proper digestion and gastrointestinal functions. This can help to eliminate the harmful bacteria that is largely responsible for diarrhea. A small bowl of yogurt once a day is a simple remedy for diarrhea, and if you add fresh fruit, the dietary fiber will further improve digestion and prevent illness.
