Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole wheat/ gluten-free/ muesli bread
  • 1 medium ripe avocado
  • 1 tsp salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp pepper as per taste
  • 1 tsp chili flakes as per taste
  • 1-2 tbsp (vegan)parmesan cheese
  • 2 boiled eggs optional
  • 2 tsp cilantro paste
  • lime as per taste

Instructions

  • To make avocado toast, first, toast the bread in a toaster or oven. If you're someone who doesn't consume wheat, you can opt for gluten-free bread.
  • Take two ripe avocados and completely smash them using a fork. Once done, add cilantro, lime, salt, pepper and chili flakes to it and mix it properly. Apply it to the bread slices. Top it with parmesan cheese. For a healthier option, you can use vegan parmesan cheese.  

  • You can also add boiled, poached or scrambled eggs, to make it more wholesome.

Notes

To enhance the flavor of the toast, you can rub the bread with garlic. Instead of salt, you can add a dash of crunchy sea salt.
