Tea is one of the most beloved drinks or beverages in the world and most people prefer to have green tea. The scientific name of the plant is Camellia sinensis. The difference between black, green, and white tea is the way that it is processed.

During the processing stage, black tea is fermented and oxidized, which gives it the unique color, flavor, and health benefits that are so widely known. On the other hand, green tea and white tea are not fermented.

nice article but Black tea is an oxidized form of tea which has been fully exposed to moist air before reaching the cups. While people prefer having black tea because of its alerting and energizing nature, is it really good for the health?

Get rid of the ridiculous notion, that LDL is in any way bad!!! Just stop it. Go read the scientific literature. Low LDL levels are associated with INCREASED mortality!

I love all kinds of Camellia sinensis tea's especially black and green ones. I love big leafy Ruhuna ones and green Gunpowder, Sencha and Gyokuro. I believe hot cup of tea during a day is a very nice and healthy habit. It relaxes me, clears my mind and inspires. It doesn't give me shakes like coffee yet it gives me relaxed focus. You too should consider drinking more tea!

Just all the sugar we dump in our tea likely isn't good.

I have had a severe case of diarrhea for over a year since being on medications. To the point I was afraid to leave the house and my bathroom. I have had several extremely embarrassing accidents while shopping. I started drinking Organic Black tea because my son brought some around and I liked the flavor with a small amount of raw local honey, a lot. After about 2 to 3 week I started being diarrhea free. I had no idea why so started doing some research on black tea. I found that it is very beneficial to gut health!! Hello black tea, you are my new best friend!!
