When some people brush their teeth, they can go a bit overboard and scrub their tongue a bit too vigorously. Some researchers believe that this can be an ancillary cause of burning tongue syndrome, so they recommend a change in toothpaste. There are many different causes of burning tongue, but baking soda can be an effective solution for all of them.
