Banana bark

by Meenakshi Nagdeve last updated -

Although not the most common herbal remedy, banana bark extracts have been linked to rapidly curing ear infections. You can extract the juice directly from the bark and then heating the juice in a pan; once the oil is allowed to cool slightly, drop it directly into the ear. It is best to do this before you go to sleep, but be sure to lie on the opposite side so the extract remains in your ear and is able to work overnight to eliminate the infection and reduce pain.
