Hyperlipidemia is characterized as the accumulation of excess lipids in the body, which eventually get stored or clog up the arteries. However, urination is a wonderful way to eliminate excess salts, fats and toxins from the body, albeit at a very slow rate. That being said, if you increase your water intake and stay hydrated all day, you will be doing your body a big favor, and releasing a lot of strain on the heart. Remaining hydrated is also important for blood pressure levels, which can be exacerbated by excess cholesterol. In other words, grab another glass of water, it’s good for you!
