Giving up an addiction like smoking “cold turkey” is very difficult, and can even be dangerous, but gradually eliminating the dangers of cigarettes may be easier. Cut back by one cigarette per week, or even per day, and you’ll significantly cut your risk of cancer and heart attacks.
