I follow veganism to the core and it breaks my heart to read something like that. I mean if I am a vegan I wouldn’t want to go ahead and eat wasps, right?

If you are religiously following a vegan diet, this can be disheartening because figs ideally contain wasps so they cannot be vegan. But again, it is a natural phenomenon. If you really wanna eat them, go ahead!
