Although CBD acts by regulating the body’s endocannabinoid system, which helps restore those muscles of the body that spasm out of control, it has been found that consuming CBD oil can cause diarrhea and an upset stomach in people sensitive to its consumption. There have also been instances, however, where CBD oil has been used to cure diarrhea as it relieves symptoms of nausea, vomiting, secretory diarrhea, and ulcer.
