Yes, we can consume raw coconut oil. 1-2 tablespoons of the oil can be very helpful in in maintaining overall health. Although it sounds absurd, the benefits of eating raw coconut oil are amazing.

Hello, I just purchased 'organic extra virgin coconut oil'. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to consume it although it's says that it's edible. Kindly advice me. Thanks.

It'll be fine, it's probably organic virgin coconut oil and the branding wants to be more desirable so they added 'virgin' to make it seem better than their competitors when it's in fact exactly the same. By law they can't put 'organic' or 'virgin' on a product without it being so it just the 'extra' bit that they're not so strict on. :)

Raw coconut oil consumption helps you with weight loss and build muscle which has helped me since i started gymming lately
