Common allergy symptoms can arise even after taking a sip of the beverage. It is being investigated as an anti-cancer drug, and the allergic reactions can range from being minor to severe. Drinking rooibos tea can cause rashes, skin itchiness, swollen skin, and breathing difficulty as well. Even consuming a limited amount can cause allergies.
