Does horseradish need to be fresh? Or can we use powder for age spots?

I switched from jarred products to the fresh thing and trust me, the difference is amazing! Freshly grated horseradish adds a whole new dimension to food. Not sure about age spots though

When it comes to cooking, the freshly grated stuff wins any time. It’s the better alternative even when you are treating your age spots. But if you don’t have access to fresh horseradish, the powder may be your only option.
