How to know when guava is ripe?

If the color of the fruit changes from a prosperous green to a vivid yellow with a touch of pink color, then it is ready for harvest. Once it is ripe, the smell of the fruit is musky and sweet. Applying gentle pressure on the fruit would help in determining whether the guava is ripe or not. On applying pressure on the upper layer, if you find it to be soft, you can conclude that the guava is ripe. Guavas may ripen depending on climatic changes.

You can easily know that by the softness of guava. Harder ones should be avoided and you shoud wait till they ripe or get softer more
