As the next user has described, yes, relieving stress is good. But, i think if you easily want to stop teeth grinding then, you can keep a hot towel on your cheek in front of your earlobe before bed for 10 mins. This helps relax your jaw muscles.

Do some jaw exercises and drink plenty of water as teeth grinding is sometimes linked to dehydration.

Teeth grinding is a symptom of too much stress. It is not good for health as it not only spoils your teeth structure but also spoils your jaw. The best way to stop this is to get stressfree. As easy as it may sound, it is not. Meditation, exercise, good food, happiness or laughter therapy all of these may help.
