A decent number of researchers have shown that drinking caffeine while pregnant is not advisable. Since Ceylon tea is rich in caffeine, a moderate amount of Ceylon tea may not affect a pregnant woman adversely, but an excess of it can affect the fetus’ metabolism since it cannot digest caffeine. So ideally it’s not safe to consume caffeine during pregnancy. Marked as spam
